Charles Gunn
Charles Gunn is a recent addition to the show and was introduced in season one's "War Zone" when Angel got caught in the middle of a melee with Gunn and several vampires. He is a rogue vampire slayer fighting to save lives on the streets. However, he harbours deep guilt over his inability to save his sister Alonna from death at the hands of several vampires. Gunn enjoys dangerous missions (as indicated in "Blind Date" and is now willing to do
anything for Angel and his friends. Gunn is now employed at Angel Investigations.
J. August Richards became a series regular beginning with the season two premiere, "Judgment".
